News on Skoda Rapid, Bookings of XUV 500, New Strike in Manesar Plant.



Skoda begins production of its Rapid, an upcoming Sedan.

Skoda has started the production of its starting range sedan in its Chakan plant near Pune. Skoda Rapid is expected to be rolled out soon, in sub 7 lakh segment.

Mahindra XUV 500 records a massive response with 5000 bookings.
Bookings for Mahindra XUV 500 is started on October 1st. Early, Mahindra has surprised its customers by offering a price tag of 10 to 13 lakh. Within six days, XUV 500 has received a massive 5000 bookings.

Workers of Maruthi, Manesar Plant, went on strike, again on Friday.
Without any prior notice, 1100 casual workers of Maruthi's plant at Manesar went on strike demanding reinstatement of casual workeers. recently, the company has announced its plans of increasing its production by 40% in the current month. But, this strike has brought a shake in Manesar Plant..
